(original post: 22 Nov 2007 05:17 am)Sent to me from someone selling reproductions of these photos on eBay. Click on the photos to get full resolution photos. These are much higher resolution than the photos above, but are taken at an angle. Perhaps someone can orthographically correct them. The Chinese Bomb was originally in scene B1f (the sixth and last to be shown). It ended up as the fourth and last to be shown. The dimensions of the model from the drawing are 3'2.5" (978 mm) long 11.5" (292 mm) high 8" (203 mm) diameter fan at front Scene from DVD.

(original post: 29 Nov 2007 12:42 pm)Fantastic, Lee! I always rather liked this satellite. Your huge photos, however, have prompted me to wonder if the Chinese satellite is really Russian (and vice versa), for reasons I explain on this other thread ('Chinese & Russian Satellites Confused?')... www.2001-3d-archive.info/forums/viewtopic.php?t=24

Was there some rumor sometime ago that someone was creating this kit? Maybe I read it over at Atomic City? Maybe I imagined it? Next to the US, this one's my fave, methinks...
