The box arrived today. Excellent packing in bubble wrap, small bags, and a couple small boxes. All parts cast in light gray resin. The reference print, an exclusive for the preordered ODEC members, is very nice.
I'm cleaning off the bench, and am aiming for photos, tomorrow.

Ok, cleaned off much of workbench. Here is a good overall shot of the kit, in all her resin and metal glory.  There is a lot of surface detail. The print, and the reference material (on this site  ) are a real help. I am looking forward to getting the instructions, but can start cleaning up some of the parts, while I wait. |

wonder how many people got the purple version of the hull? ... I think I had two different grays as well.
Was there any mottling on the hull anywhere?

I'm looking forward to build threads, so we can find out what colors folks got. I did have a second, darker gray resin, for some panels. Guess you use what you have, with resin batches. ...Was there any mottling on the hull anywhere? Not that I noticed, it seemed pretty uniform. |
