Thanks, Mark! I can't wait to get the Chinese platform in there too!
You wouldn't think it, but those two are the same white, applied to different densities over the black and silver base colors. I've got the white color listed in my notes when I get around to updating my WiP proper.
The panels on the US nuke were all hand cut with scissors. I first thought I was going to go mad doing it, but I really got into it after not too long and likely went overboard! ;D But I am very happy with their overall placement and density.
I shaved a few of Mad Dog's panels off completely. But that will be more apparent in the WiP. I will have to panel up Timeslips' model to some degree, but will be going lighter than I did on Mad Dog's.
That French ass is a sore sight and needs major alteration. The seams going down the sides (not seen in these pix) needs some hiding as well.
The US ass could use some work around the inner perimeter seam, but I need to think about that. The ref drawing indicates slanted panels. I might go this route.
