Since Mad Dog is no longer making or selling the American Satellite kit does anyone know where one can get their hands on one, built/half built or parts of it?

I looked through the SSM store and it appears that this kit is no longer available. I got mine from SSM many years ago when I first saw it in this forum.
This kit is based on pics from the movie and the 2001 bizony book that came out several years ago and is only slightly accurate compared to the movie version.
Since I bought the AJA models kit which is more accurate I decided to do the Mad dog kit from what we know of modern sattelites. You can see my efforts in the WIP forum.
I suggest you get the AJA models kit which is much better than the Mad Dog kit. If you absolutely need the Mad Dog kit then you can try scratch building your own. It's not an exceptionally difficult build and with all the pics of the kit shown in this forum you should be able to manage it.
