05/01/2009 Previously, several board colors conflicted with each other, causing some information to become essentially invisible -as they were the same color as their background. Over the last month or two, you've probably noticed I've been messing around with the palette, trying different combinations and looking at them on different monitors. I think I finally found a palette that works in most situations. Your results may, however, vary. "We apologize for the inconvenience." ...No. It's the 'visited link' color that conflicts with almost all choices... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 10/16/08: Swept cave. Boxed a few old threads into long term storage. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 9/24 Me did some smashing. Renamed a few threads in the Kits section, moved one or two topics to more appropriate Boards, ranted a bit in another. Trying to deduce how best to surgically separate one topic into four distinct topics without losing who posted what and when.

All of human history can be boiled down to the following four concepts: Stick, Wheel, Fire and Thumb.
Stick: Makes things happen Wheel: Makes things go. Fire: Makes things live. Thumb: Makes tools work..

All of human history can be boiled down to the following four concepts. Stick: Makes things happen Wheel: Makes things go. Fire: Makes things live. Thumb: Brings it all together. Having just gotten back from lunch, I like Douglas Adams' take... "The History of every major Galactic Civilization tends to pass through three distinct and recognizable phases, those of Survival, Inquiry and Sophistication, otherwise known as the How, Why and Where phases. For instance, the first phase is characterized by the question, ' How can we eat?' The second by the question, ' Why do we eat?' And the third by the question, ' Where shall we do lunch?'"

More cleaning in the Kits section. Broke 'The Stargazer Collection' into separate topics for easier discovery. (haha)
